Bidvest Bank Limited Reviews

Excellent curve

when I get into the office I check my excel spread sheet and check my project prior and due date, I work with a group of six people and that has taught me to always give support to one another , I also enjoy working under pressure as it gives me extra confident after a job well-done , though I get challenged when I don't get response from what I request from suppliers or colleagues but its not really challenged because I'm one person who never backs down in any challenge

Pros: good place for experience
Cons: Normal working hours 8-5

Very disappointing experience

Working at Bidvest Bank sure was an experience. I was sold this dream of a bank only to find that it was all smoke and mirrors. You are expected to sell products that cannot deliver because they haven't thought the process through 'the proverbial cart before the horse' and when you start asking why these systems weren't put in place to begin with then you are quickly shut up. It's a joke of epic proportions and I feel for the staff that work there. The management. Well, it still debatable what qualifications they needed to actually get into those positions because they can't manage cheese let alone a bank. Jobs for pals is big.

Pros: You learn very quickly how to sell ice to an Eskimo
Cons: Extremely high staff turnover. Ridiculous salaries and non existent increases.

Great Network

A simple day of business as usual will include factors such as paying out clients via financial asset finance. The most difficult about the job would be the stakes that are associated by getting a client's details wrong and therefore resulting in the funds being transferred to the wrong person. The job is mundane as there are hardly any real challenges. I have learnt that one should always take responsibility of one's actions

Pros: Great door-opening experience
Cons: No bonuses
