In my previous position I was both a senior Project Manager as well as Program manager

I worked very close to the senior management i.e. CIO, COO and/or CEO of clients and our company. This involved both reporting and planning. I was involved in regular meetings and workshops. My focus was to with the teams in the different projects to develop/adapt and implement the software suite according to the client’s requirements while ensuring that we do not break our product. To achieve this, I had to work very closely with the teams, management and clients to win and keep their trust In all of this, one learns your own short comings and need to either adapt or build a team where the team is successful and it's not a one-man hero. Any project must be bigger than one man to succeed. I enjoy working in team, and especially taking on challenging projects which is evident by the types of projects I took on and successfully delivered in my career. The most challenging is to work with unreasonable people and to find a way to "unlock" them to form part of the team and ultimately the solution.

Excellent experience build up

Worked shifts at least 6 shifts a week. I had always a great relationship with my co-workers and employer. I always found ways to make things better, fixed problems, made sure everything was up to standard and the business is organized and running smoothly. I love being a manager, I love having that responsibility and working hard with my fellow colleges. It was challenging for me on weekends to run the business while the place is busy and full of customers and there was emergencies or stock coming in but I managed myself well.

Pros: I got the experience of being a manager
Cons: Worked hard hours including sundays

Great interaction with people

I have no experience in the current field of work how ever I did full requested practical work that was need for me to get full experience of the job.

A great company with an awesome family-like culture.

I enjoyed working at th e company, there was a great atmosphere and the colleagues seemed to be genuinely interested in the one another.There was a great sense of unityand friendly banter combined with hard work and pushing for sales targets. The monthly incentives were a great motivation for the teams.

Gained Experience

First time working in an automotive industry. Being mostly a male dominated industry I had to learn to stand my ground and stand up for what I believe in. Processing invoices for work done on vehicles was my main role as well as taking payment and putting together the daily banking. I operated the switchboard as well as kept the customer seating area tidy and made sure coffee was always available. I also did daily filing of invoices. I'd say the most difficult experience was dealing with unhappy customers but patience is a good thing.

Cons: Long working hours and no overtime
