A typical day at work

A typical day at work involves a morning meeting whereby the objectives and targets for the day are set. The previous day targets are reviewed to assess progress made the day before. Thereafter I would meet with my department and communicate minutes of the meeting important the Sheq department. Plant walkabouts and assessments are conducted. Critical to Quality parameters are reviewed. Paper work and administrative functions follow.I have learnt that employees are the greatest assets in industry. Happy employees produce quality results. I enjoy being able to make a difference through risk assessments and audits thereby keeping employees safe. The most challenging aspects are meeting customer trial requirements when machines break down

Pros: It was a great opportunity to learn about the Plastic Blow Moulding
Cons: Employees not being adequately skilled

A great company that has grown my knowledge on most FMCG products and customers.

Global company that has a fast products being supplied into the FMCG industry. A growing company that has been in the market since 1885. Great environment for growth. The staff are great and a and one can create a home like environment.

Pros: Great global exposure to innovation as well as recycling of products.
Cons: No growth opportunities

First starter, meets deadlines, good communication skills

Everyday there is always something new to learn. People are supportive when you pitch a new idea. You get authority to lead a project when you come up with something new but the most challenging part is reluctance to change

Pros: Study assistance if you want to further your studies
Cons: People not pitching up to work
