Beier Industries Reviews

It was a good learning curve

As a Chargehand my typical day was insuring that breakdowns were been attended to timeously. As well as making sure they are done to standard. I enjoy a good working relationship with my co-workers and Bosses right up to the CEOs. Learning to program robots is one of the highlights of my job at Beier, as well as learning the operation of the needling machines. Trying to get the workshop to work as team and working on old machines that have no drawings to them has been the hardest challenges.

Pros: the people are good
Cons: the pay isn't that good for the responsibilities attached to the job

Exposure

Great exposure to all the functions of HR and the work is a great place to be in. I want new challenges, therefore, that is why I need new challenges and new responsibilities. You work with a great young team who is straight out of varsity and who is passionate about what they do. The relationships with colleagues are absolutely amazing and we are like family. The management has a great structure and good management style. I've learnt so many skills and I learnt the processes that enabled me to succeed in HR. I enjoy assisting employees every day because of that satisfaction that it brings. Challenges are to manage different personalities.

Pros: Learning opportunities
Cons: Vague working hours
