Great learning opportunity. Excellent job straight out of school.

A typical work day begins at 07:00 and ends at 15:30. We often work overtime on weekends and that's from 07:00 till 14:00. I have an excellent relationship with my co-workers and we often go out and bond on the last Friday of every month. I have learnt a lot about the processes that takes place not only at the lab but in the factory as a whole. I've taken every opportunity to learn as much as I could so that my knowledge is extensive and I could always be in the loop as well as provide reasonable reasons as to why stuff might not be performing as well at the lab. I really enjoy the team I'm apart of, these are a fantastic group of people who are all willing to help and motivate you to do your best, this is what I'll miss the most about my current job. The most challenging part of the job is the communication, the communication between the factory and the lab isn't great and the distance between the factory and lab doesn't help that.

Pros: Opportunity to learn vast amount of duties.
Cons: Hardly any opportunities to progress.

Eg: excellent learning experience

A normal work day start off with checking the bank as to what inflows have come in for the previous day. Then updating the bank statement. Also my normal capturing of invoices and attending to queries. There are busy days but I also have the quiet days. Ive learnt a lot of management skills at this company. I enjoy everything bout this job. Year end and audits become a bit chellenging but nothing that I cant handle.

Cons: No room for growth
