My life at Beckman Coulter South Africa

Beckman Coulter is a great platform for growth and advancement. Associates work under pressure but also get the opportunity to work on a development plan for their future. A happy customer is my greatest reward. I do come across challenges but have learnt to ride the waves and come out stronger while still keeping the customer as my primary focus. I am part of a great team that has become a big part of my life.

• Product management and mange storage space • Supervise stock receipts and monitor FIFO (FIRST IN FIRST OUT) system • Maintain HACCP and control spillage • Perform general warehouse administration and staff performance • Timeous off-loading of trucks • Participate in external and internal audit • To ensure that the receiving function efficiently and cost affectively • Ensure the accuracy of stock receipts against relevant documentation • Ensure stock receipts are updated into the system (ORACLE) with agreed time (48hrs) • Ensure safety standards are adhered to in terms of receiving practice • Ensure housekeeping standard inside and outside of the receiving dept are maintained • Order confirmation

EXCELLENT LEARNING AND GROWING CURVE

I Enjoy working for Beckman Coulter even though I am currently working on a temporary 6 month contract. The atmosphere is pleasant and allows for learning and growing. I have an excellent working relationship with my co-workers and have adapted very well. the most challenging aspect is having to deal with queries as I am still learning and so it becomes a challenge as to how do I resolve the query.
