BASF SA Reviews

Excellent learning curve

A dynamic, principled and dedicated Laboratory Technician with B-tech Analytical chemistry and four years relevant working experience within chemical industry. My working experience includes general, analytical lab work and administration work; working with various relevant analysis instruments. I pride myself besides growing my technical skills as a career professional that has developed the ability to work under pressure, communicate well with peers and superiors and manage my time well as an individual and team player and pay attention to details to achieve optimum results according to the highest possible standard

Pros: Great opportunity for growth
Cons: Long working hours

Steep learning curve

Working at BASF is a wonderful experience, it’s a fully hands on and high pressure environment. With co-workers I have an excellent relationship, they are very helpful and we always assist one another on and off-work. I have learnt that teamwork, self-belief are key to self development and achieving and celebrating succeses propel the team to even higher levels. I enjoy the challenge that comes with the job, keeps one on his toes and the achievement is very satisfactory. The most challenging aspects of the job is managing the time to do different tasks.

Pros: Opportunities for personal growth in terms of learning are very high.
Cons: many adminstrative tasks
