Good day

I am writing in response to the Team Leader vacancy currently available in your company. I am currently working for Barclays Absa since 7 March 2016 to date. Previously I was a Team Leader with Telkom Mobile since the June 2012 until 5 March 2016. Currently , I have 4 years Team Leader experience and 6 years Call Center experience . I have managed Teams of 12 agents minimum and increased to 15 and 25. I am currently on contract with ABSA. I have the ability to monitor agents' absenteeism, conduct coaching sessions and assist the agents into realising opportunities in the work place. Pros: I have realised that there are many opportunities for working in ABSA. There is a lot of growth and assistance is availble upon request. Training is provided and one gets monitored when placed on the job , hands on for the first 4 weeks. This is to get the feel of the job spec, and be able to handle the pressure that comes with it.
Cons: The challenge is that , one needs to apply for a vacancy to be on a permanent basis, this is possible when one has been with ABSA for 12 months.

Pros: Opportunities for promotion are limited for contract workers
Cons: Long Hours, Shift Work, Late Shift and Overnight shft
