Bankserv Africa Reviews

Great working experince and what a learning curve i experienced.

I love working with people so my day is always bright due to the person I am. I always put smiles on faces and joke a lot . While doing that I work very hard because we work with people. My co-workers are like brothers and sisters because im with them most of the time. I've learnt that people are different, working with dedication pays off. I mostly enjoy being around and working with people. the only challenge is transport when working shifts.

Pros: Love working with people
Cons: Shifts

Good time management skills to aquire

As a contact centre agent. You will need to be logged in on time ensure you are aware of daily updates regarding your product. We have various campaigns at Bankserv Africa. The UK campaign is rather new starting out in August 2016 we have made a big success of the campaign therefore we got a new bigger contract when our contact was to expire. All contact agents has a very close relationship because everyday brings new challenges such as irate clients who has not received their magazines, client account being double debited or clients account not being debited. We learn daily how to handle these queries and we are update daily with any queries the UK thinks we might experience. The worst part of this job is not having access to do a lot of things you are required to call the UK but then you don't get any assistance from them.

Pros: healthy enviroment
Cons: Shift

Great learning curve

I learnt a lot at BankservAfrica, learnt how it's like to be a project manager and I attended a course, SQS Training where I got my Agile Foundation certificate. Gained a lot of working experience and every day I had something new to learn like conference meeting with clients in Africa.

Pros: Good benefits from the company
Cons: racism

Great learning curve

Every day felt like a new day hence the was always something new to learn from the project managers I worked with in the project office. I was doing the same thing constantly hence I was working with all the project managers and attending every meeting including conference calls with clients from Africa. My relationship with my co-workers was good, they treated me well even though I was the youngest worker in the field. Sometimes I'd would be challenging to please all my co- workers but I will always meet my deadline. I learnt how to be patient and sharp and how to prioritise things at work especially on those hectic days were I had too much work to be done at one time.

Pros: Good benefits from the company
Cons: favourism and racism
