Decent exposure to the transport industry

The companr is a family business thus all senior management iare owners. So no possibility to grow as an employee. The cooporate culture is wanting The remuneration is poor and the chance to make strategic decisions is not available.

Good people skills

Qualified diesel mechanic with more that 15years experience;and more than 10years as a workshop manager. good people skills hands on as well. Working hours do not bother me as I am used to work long hours

EXCELLENT LEARNING CURVE

I AM WORKING SHIFTS FOR FIVE DAYS A WEEK,ITS GOOD WORKING WITH OTHER PEOPLE BECAUSE I LEARNT A LOT FROM PEOPLE AM WORKING WITH & HOPE THEY LEARNING A LOT FROM ALSO .I LEARNT HOW TO USE COMPUTERS ,HOW TO TRACK VEHICLES USING DIFFERENT SYSTEMS,HOW TO SURVIVE AT WORK PLACE WITH DIFFERENT CHARECTORS OF PEOPLE.I AM WORKING SIX TO SIX SHIFT.THE MOST CHALLENGING PART IN MY JOB ARE LONG HOURS ,WAKE UP EARLY AND ARRIVE LATE @HOME .SEASONALLY e.g WINTER I LEFT HOME IN THE DARK AND COME BACK EVENING.I ENJOY USING COMPUTER EVERYDAY BECAUSE ITS I AM ALWAYS ADVANCE IN EVERYTHING.

Pros: GOOD ALL THE TIME
Cons: 12HOURS A DAY TO 60 HOURS A WEEK

Workshop duties and floor plan I am proud of my carrier and I also really like to learn more about how to be a good mechanic.everyday we do morning breed about what are the outstanding jobs and new jobcards,feeling jobcards ,,ordering parts,and reports and also house keeping.i am a well behaved and team player .I also learned that to work as a team helps cause you learn some new technics .I also enjoyed to work with supervisor who are technically minded and understand and also who gives you Chance to explain what is happening.the most challenging with this job is nobody at work appreciate what mechanics are doing and how important row are they playing, no protective clothing,low wages and working environment.

Pros: Opportunities for incentive,promotion and bonus
Cons: Normal working hours and overtime
