Baker Baynes Reviews

Great company culture

My tasks involved technical support for software, training on the software, consulting clients and presenting information to help upskill users.Learnt alot about management of customers, conducting presentations and marketing the company. Overall great company culture to build and grow. The company culture was great, the managers are always looking to improving working environments and new ideas. The thing I enjoyed the most was the relationship with coworkers and how unique the company is.

Pros: Great for experience and to build and learn more skills.
Cons: It is very demanding in terms of time and you may have to work overtime

All new

This new company bought over the software sales side of the previous company and we were offered a position. After a few weeks I have quickly developed good relationships with the people who started with the company. The company is very new and still trying to find it's feet around getting into the market and being the best but there is a lot of financial pressure on everyone since the company hasn't made a profit since it has opened. I enjoy meeting with clients and relationship building with potential clients, however I'm not the biggest fan of cold calling - however we need to do this since we receive very few leads from the marketing team. Thus we need to generate most of our opportunities ourselves.

Pros: Can work from home in between meetings
Cons: No opportunity for growth and development
