No ability to grow. Lacking the ability to lead soft. Positions help by staff that dont deserve then and handed to staff with zero ability to lead or grow staff

I run application development projects in an Agile method and large operations projects Waterfall. We have teams divided into different products and need to make use of other team inputs for delivery. I have a very strong and capable team that sometimes have some personality clashes but are easily managed with task delegations and positive reinforcement. We recently underwent an Agile training course so we are still learning but loving the new way of doing things. I enjoy working with different types of people and projects that require a hands-on approach. Currently my biggest challenge is keeping my team helpfulness in check as they would sometimes deliver more than was scoped.

Great exposure

My day usually includes checking the work of the two technical assistants entrusted to me, carrying out technical work myself and diagnosing problem cars signing off job cards. I generally get along very well with my co-workers mainly because i believe if you respect people they will respect you back, I have been with my current company for 3 years going on 4 and learnt a lot of different administrative work to a point that i get called to stand in when ever any workshop admin is on leave and I would say of all the things I enjoy always learning new things is what I enjoy the most. To date what I find as the most challenging aspect of my job is the work load, there is such a large volume of cars I cant help but at times feel overwhelmed.
