I am currently a plant maintenance & operations plant superintendent on a coal washing plant.

I am very excited to apply for the position of maintenance & operations manager in your company. I possess experience managing duties related to maintenance and operations on fabrication and production plants. As a highly skilled Production & Maintenance Superintendent in an industrial atmosphere, I’ve a demonstrated ability to create and implement maintenance systems (Sap, Pragma system) A Major Achievement. My current Londani Plant Availability 96% and Plant Utilization 95% this was achieved due to proper preventative Maintenance planning and execution. Furthermore I have the capacity to understand the safety precautions that are needed in order to work effectively and minimize accidents & incidents. A Major Safety Achievement My previous Sumo Plant: 7 years LTI Free and 5 years without any medical treatment case it was achieved due to proper Coaching and training & understanding on Safety standards and regulations (Safety First).

Pros: To move closer to my home in Port Elizabeth, Cost saving ( dont need to buy flight tickets every month to go home)
Cons: Air pollution in Middelburg Mpumalanga is going through the roof. Money is not worth it if you work away from home.

Employees are given opportunities to learn new jobs at the plant

Its a company that car about the employees They train they employees Good relationship with all works Preparing chemicals at the plant Working in a cold environment

Pros: Can promted to be shift forman
Cons: 12 hours when the next shift some of the employees at no the or coming late

Opportunity for new experiences

I joined my company without experience and my company did not make me feel that I don't have experience but took me to training. My job was to ensure that toolbox talk are done everyday before the commencement of work and ensuring that everybody is safe and complying to the mine regulations. I have a very good relationship with everyone. When I'm at work I feel as if I'm with my family. I learned to be patient with everyone and that a good communication is a key for everything. I enjoyed the group toolbox talk which is held every Friday where we discuss about the incident or accident that occur during the week. Dealing with people who don't want to comply is the most challenging aspect that I face everyday

Pros: Great opportunity for promotion.
Cons: I have being working Monday to Friday and on call out .

The fact that I learned Variable Speed Drives(VSD), left me with a remark.

I used to work alone which made me confident enough. I'm no longer working as my contract came to an end after qualifiyng as an artisan. I did enjoy the experience I had at this company, the drives to control the motors, the maintenance team near me, all left a good experience on me.

Pros: better promises were made
Cons: Not every promise was delivered.

Great exposure to new challenges and grow in my respective field

I have attained enough experience and expertise in my field for me to work in a laboratory such as your company.I have experience in chemistry equipment such as ICP,IV/vis,spectrometer,XRF by means of Leco.I’m looking forward to great learning opportunities.
