Learning opportunity

-come in assist by reception and then assist my broker consultant's assistant - my relationship with my colleagues its a average level - the thing I learn the most is the difference between insurance companies and how ppl handle death - what I enjoy the most is being surrounded by the different type of personalities of different people and culture - most challenging thing about the job I do is to remember everything and not stuck when clients and Brokers and reps

Show your supervisee how things are done, so they will give you better production.

Being a manager doesn't mean you are better than , you need to treat your supervisee in a well respected manner because your production lies on them, you should always create a good environment for your work. Train well your supervisee and he will give you a double production. Coaching, training and counselling should be better practiced on relevant employees so that production will not be a problem.

Learning opportunities

My day to day duties are mainly client services,liason with Provincial and Head Office along with sales team and managers. I work very closely with area manager who is not always in the office I partly run our district offices in Vryheid and Piet Retief since I am senior admin clerk. I manage office the office's sponsorship, stationery ,telephone and petty cash budget. Asset management is part of my duties too.
