WORKING IN A MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY WITH FRANCHISES

Working in the debtors industry you have to build a relationship with your clients to be able to do your work effectively. A clear understanding of policies and procedures of the company you are working for is important. A love for reconciliations and been able to sort out problems timeously. Over the past few years I have been able to build a relationship with our franchise holders as well as our major car manufacturing companies and car dealerships. The people I work with have become like family as you share so much time with them on a daily basis.

Stepping stone

Very vibey, sales orientated persons. Eveyday we strive for the best and like to make new leads. TEAMWORK is always the answer. Pride in presentation is the best. Make long lasting trustworthy relationships. SALEA SALES SALES AND NETWORKING.

Great knowledge gained

I always strive to improve myself. I always believe what is on paper doesn't describe my capabilities. I am a hard worker that always goes the extra mile. When you work in finance outside the box thinking is crucial. I'm a strategist with a strong understanding of accounting. I believe I can be an asset to your company.

My current

Am a quality assurance training, I assist in routine quality control checks, deal with the customers complains and mainly I implement quality control systems and improve the ones which are in place

Pros: the company isn't willing to implement new system to increase their efficiency
Cons: Learnining more on how to work on the quality department

Excellent Learning Curve

Besides the usual full function credit control that I am accustomed to, I was exposed to some creditors work as well. Reconciling payments for our customers was a new concept to me but I saw it as a challenge and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pros: I was privileged enough to fall into the role of a senior credit controller which is a step in the right direction for me as I want to go higher in the ranks.
Cons: The contract ended.

Excellent learning curve

A typical work day at the office can get busy clients in and out phone calles inbetween , someone stressed to my left and then somedays it feels like monday started all over again, but love every moment of it, the sales consultants im so blessed to have met them, each and everyone of them made many things possible for me, the bond i have with them even if they all are different is just increadable, ive learnt that nobody should be taken for granted no matter the situation. what i enjoy most, well what isint there to enjoy every day is a new learning experience for me and a opportunity. i should say the challenging aspects of my job, were the days i enjoyd the most, Difficult clients, solving huge problems, struggeling and finding solutions.

I'm gaining a lot of experience in the finance field

I get along well with my collegues. I am a hard worker and I love learning new things. I love challenges and I can handle stress very well. I am good at working under pressure in my own space. I listen very carefully to instructions given to me by my supervisor

I get on very well with my staff and co-workers. The job has taught me to be store neatness , flexibility , firm but fair , accuracy , passion for my job , to be fair , responsibility and accountability. I enjoy the new challenges on a daily basis.

Excellent team and great products

A typical work day will start with a daily toolbox talk and meeting to discuss work related issues and performance output. I am very close with my small team of 20 warehouse staff and 3 office staff . In the 7 years with my current company I have learned a lot of people skills , how to work with difficult customers how not to break under pressure and to problem solve . I am not looking to leave the company that I work for but due to the current economic pressure our company did not survive and is closing down at the end of the year. To biggest struggle of working in the motor industry is getting new trustworthy / reliable fitment centres that will keep the same high standards and pride in their work as the products that we deliver .
