Exposure to new obstacles, working as a junior learning curves,new exposure, starting from the beginning,, not enough equipment, not enough educated staff on site, systems lack growth

Great start for growth

There is work to do everyday, we do not have idling hours. However we try and make the best of the work, plan ahead, sync our work all to the benefit of the company and our progress on various sites. As a QS i get to be behind the scenes (Office) and i visit my sites once a week to have an idea of what is happening and to build a better relationship with site personnel and subcontractors. We never seem to have enough time, 8 hours is not enough. being an hour early and leaving an hour later has become a norm.

Cons: long hours
