Excellent learning curve

Working for Atlas Plant Hire has been such a great learning curve for me. I have been introduced to so many things, as well as being exposed to the Finance side of the company. Learning to work on InspHire, Pastel and doing recons for all suppliers, etc. has really had a huge impact in my skills and development. This is the kind of company that pushes a person to their maximum heights and the atmosphere is great bubbly but very different. We work well with co-workers, do what we need to get done and I really enjoy being given a new responsibility/work as I learn more. Being in the reception area has helped me grow and learning how every department operates and how all departments come in together to form one bigger picture. I enjoy being able to fit in all the departments, knowing how to do the work of every department.

Excellent learning curve

A well-motivated and energetic individual who possesses good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively on all levels within an organization. I have strong organizational skills and ability to work with a wide range of professionals. I have equipped myself with all accounting functions, which includes processing, audit assistance and preparation, salaries and wages preparation, all company taxes and providing administrative support to management. I have established myself as an exceptionally successful and effective accounting professional with good understanding of the latest IFRS and new statutory regulations. I participate effectively in teamwork situations and use my own initiative when required in making decisions that ensures that the projects are completed in an efficient and productive manner. I have good time management skills that allow me to successfully multi-task several projects at once in order to meet deadlines, budgets and targets.

Growth

I work daily with Suppliers and Customers, my Customer relation is very much in tune with the industry and my personality because I need to be more hands on and build relationships and keep all stakeholder happy. I enjoy the fast paced work that I do as it keeps me focused and able to reach deadlines. My team is like my family and I also need to make sure that I make the working environment as favourable as possible for everyone involved. I have learnt a lot regarding the whole finance department and have grown as well in the past years.

Pros: Learnt a lot. Buld a name for myself
Cons: Not being regrded on desicions that affect me personally

A great experience

i have gained alot of experience from this company, from invoicing, Quotes, Job Cards, Sales. i have a good relationship with all employees with the staff, i enjoyed being part of a company that sees each individual as the same and gives everyone an equal opportunity.

Enjoy technical management, enjoy technical challenges, especially faults finding, mechanical and electronic, always share ideas, like to design special tools to simplify job if possible, positive ideas is what meters. Worked in difference industry manufacturing, engines, generators, hydraulic, welding, drawing interpretation.

Growth

Work is very stressful, dealing with Creditors and cashflow long hours even on Saturday. No Bonuses or incentives. I have learnt a lot with regards to dealing with deadlines and outside correspondence. I have learnt how the business operates and am part of an excellent team. but in life one has to progress to better positions which I am currently not able to do
