Life as a System Engineer

I love the people I work beside, they are like my family. I love the variety. I get to interact with such a varied groups/people/customers. I love my job because no day is ever the same. I’m energetic, self-motivated, with good problem solving skills, initiative and a passion for service excellence. Each day I am presented with new challenges and situations, which really helps me to stay focused and interested. It means I am always learning. Yes sure there are pressure on me when a system are down and you sitting next to the customer and they waiting feedback and results. A Typical work day is to ensure incident tickets and requests are updated regularly and effectively and sure incidents are resolved within SLA. Ensure documentation of the environment and operational procedures stay relevant. Adherence to quality assurance procedures and adherence to change control process. I believe I can make a difference and with hard work and team work we can achieved anything

I do have Semi skilled Rigging, fall arrest, Rope access technician, licence, data capturing certificate and matric. I worked at venetia mine as a Rigger under steffannutti stocks.am currently working under Atio as a rigger.I really want a job at the mine. Am fast learner am willing to learn

Excellent

Im currently working for Atio were my daily duties are to deal with customer issues and new site builds used for improving cell phone signal in your area. My daily activities depends on the request i have been sent to deal with but most time it calling customer finding out his issue then setting up appointment at the place were he is having the issue and resolving it as soon a possible.

Good Career

Our day is usually busy in the morning in a way that we have to do health checks to check if all systems are running. We have a close relationship with our co-worker in a way that we work as a team and we gain knowledge from one another.

Dealing with customer requests and faults

Dealing with customer expectations and problems. Finding the correct resource to address work. Helping my staff where I can and I am a early bird. Always early in office.

Learning curve

Great people at all levels of the company - joining makepositive is like joining a family and everyone is supportive of each other and has a great time together Interesting projects - I have worked at makepositive for 4 years and no 2 projects are alike A great culture - coming to work is fun and there are always nights out and something for everyone

Excellent learning Opportunities

really great company, worked with minimum supervision,working from home as a Senior Technician, new challenges each day, travelling, and an opportunity to learn the surrounding areas.
