At assmang I'm working 8 hours Monday to Friday and it a very dusty company that is smelting manganese 2t hours, I like working here but I fill like I want to change the environment. I doing receiving and issueing of the Data capturing Driving forklift Ordering I terms from supply Notifieng end user about their iterm Liaising with the top line managers about section budget.... I have a lot about team work and team captain. In have learn that people are not the same so you have to accept the differences. I enjoy working with different people and I enjoy the challenges because that how we grown and the we learn a lot from them. Is to deal with supplies and trying to explain to them the important of delivering i terms in time. Engineering wanting their orders in time and only to find that we don't have because of the supplies and stock out.

Day to day activvities

I have been involved in collaboration with internal and external IT specialists to ensure that the systems support for identified business needs are met, as primary point of contact for business systems in context of IT delivered services. In this role I provide IT Service Management (ITSM) as well as Project Management. I have working knowledge of project management practices, including strong problem-solving and risk mitigation skills. I have communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of staff, management and customers. I also work well with teams through collaboration across multi-functional teams. I am responsible for vendor management and service level management. My duties include monitoring agreed SLAs and OLAs and providing regular reports, participating in project initiatives and team meetings, the management of customer expectations and educating the user community in context of SDLC and change and support management processes

Excellent learning curve

supervising a team of 8 people working shifts you need to go extra mile for other employees, but overall a good relationship I have learned a lot about myself, how to control what I feel, and to choose correct words, professional rather when speaking to fellow co-workers doing a little bit of everything, I enjoy being on the floor supervising, being in the office sending reports, calculating, doing physical work like titrating and running the XRF. dealing with people can be challenging at first, don't give up, rather focus on finding the best working strategy for both you and the team.

IT IS BELOW

I CONDUCT PLANT INSPECTION PRIOR HOLDING MY EVERY DAY MEETING IN ORDER FOR ME TO KNOW WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THE PLANT. I HOLD MY CONNECT WITH MY COLEAGUES FOR ABOUT 15 MINITES. WE DO HOUSE KEEPING AND MAINTENANCE WHEN NECESSARY THEN START THE PLANT. BEFORE KNOCK OFF I COMPILE A PLANT REPORT AND SEND IT TO THE RELAVANT STAKE HOLDERS

I hv close to 6 years shaft experience i worked in 2 companies

Working in my current company is great it tought me more on working on a shaft dt has a decline because i ws trained on a shaft dt hs only one means of transport to go underground so here for me it ws a bit easy to work i evn learned to speak other new languages so nw i wish to go close to my home province MP

Pros: i wish to hv blasting so i cn b a timberman

Good learning curve

I believe that the relationship between me and my coworkers has been good so far and I believe that they were very happy to be with me. We did all the electrical maintenance on the plant or rebuild on the furnace.

Okay learning curve

Since my role was to learn about the company, my typical day was basically, first thing in the morning I attended a production meeting. After the meeting I would travel with one of the foremen to their plant where I would either spend the day observing the process controller do their work or the equipment controller or even some belt attendants.

Pros: Learning experience
Cons: They didnt have experience with students in my department.
