Attending training and becoming an expect on the field.

I enjoy what I do especial on mining hence I want grow on this industry. I started working day shift but I changed to Day & Night shift (4 in 4 out) simple because I enjoy it the most. In most cases on my job I work alone but as much as I've been given an assistant due to the workload and from time to time we work as a team of 6. I learnt a lot of things especial with Cat machines starting from ET & SIS and the best, easy and fastest way to troubleshoot a Cat machine. Believe me all the Cat machines are the same and if you know one you'll never go wrong on the rest of them. Working with guys who does not understand their responsibility and with guys who does not see eye to eye with you can be a bit challenging.

Pros: As I said I want to grow into this industry in terms escalating.
Cons: That will depend on the company and the demands

Great exposure. More responsibilities

The great thing about the company is you get to do more than what you supposed to, more responsibilities. The line manager doesn't have necessary skills or experience in dealing with human resource issues. He never listens. There is a lot of sabotage. No team work spirit.

Pros: Great bonus scheme
Cons: Too much sabotage
