Challenging, strenuous but great experience
Long travelling distance but it's great experience because you get to meet, work and interact with different types of people in different industries. Due to the nature of my work, I am always on the road alone and days or months can pass without seeing my co-workers or manager. From my experience I have learnt to manage myself, manage others and to manage to do my job with no one micromanaging me and with all of that, I have delivered more than what was expected from me. The job also taught me how to work with clients, manage resources, flexible and to adapt in different environments. The most challenging aspects of the job is dealing with clients which are reluctant to change, travelling 150-250 km average daily (locally) and 300-500 km (long trips), lack of support from top management and lack of benefits.

Cons: Too much travelling (4500-6000 km average/month)

Time management
I got a great opportunity to put my education into practice, and be responsible for the quality of the products we testing for our clients. In the Lab we are about 15 and we are all responsible for quality and the Turn Around Time must be met to keep our clients happy. We all depending on each other to meet the turn around time, and so there is little room for error.

Good work opportunity
my day starts with organising the coolers for the drivers then i go through their daily scoping with them.i also do follow ups with the clients and courier companies.

Excellent way of making connection
The training and development conducted does not guarantee any growth within the organisation. Travelled to many parts of SA and I got to understand our diverse country.

An excellent company for experiantial learning.
Aspirata its a good company to work with.I completed my internship until current.I am working as a senior microbiologist current.Working on becoming a Technical Signatory. Its very challenging as my daily responsibilities are increasing day by day,such as communicating with clients once in while and making sure that they have all the required testing materials such food and water sampling bags.Working as a team its a daily practice amongst all,as employees of Aspirata and achieving one goal which is customer satisfactory and quality.

Food safety and health and safety auditors, typical day is driving to premises to do thorough audits or inspections, then give feedback to audited parties and the compile reports to the clients and also give recommendations.

Good work opportunity
my day starts off with checking emails and following up on client requests.I the prepare the coolers for the drivers and go through their daily scoping.I then assist the data capturers with outstanding forms and tests on the samples.I enjoy communicating with client and resolving outstanding issues.

Great company to work for
On a typical day you drive to a couple of premises to conduct your audits Great team work with colleagues Learnt to interact with different types of people of different personalities Dealing with difficult clients and the travelling are some of the challenging aspects of the job
