I have a B.com degree. I am an extravert; it is easy for me to communicate with new or old people. I have the ability to make decision (Wisdom) in consultancy and make a favorable decision. I have experience or exposure in the platinum and Chrome industry.I have worked for Anglo American (Platinum) for 4 years (2 years as a graduate and the other two as Senior Accountant. I also worked for ASA metals (pty) LTD for 5 years giving services to smelter and mine as Assistant management / financial accountant. I was retrenched at ASA in 2016 April 30 after the business went to business rescuer.

Pros: Learning opportunity and as small company we are exposed to what is happening in the company and are involved
Cons: Pressure from directors because of the financial constrain the company had

Learning new technology.supervising subordinates and taking responsibility to meet target

Adhere to safety standards to reach production target at all times.report and record all near mess to avoid accidents and reoccurnce.finish tasks within stipulated time.

Pros: expect to learn more in new environment and new people with different thinking.
Cons: always work within gorverment regulations

Adapt very quick to the no b

I always learn more to my every day job and aim at improving what I do to get to the product and working safe is the best option at all.one other thing is team work because you can not always do things your way but as a team we always come up with plan and do best and by so doing we get to know each other better in such a way that if somebody has a problem it's easier to notice that.

Pros: Opportunity for promotion.
Cons: Ready to work shifts and overtime.

Metallurgical industry

Asa Metals comprise of excellent technology on the surface plant. SAF's have the capacity for 360k tons pa. While the Onsite supporting Dilokong chrome mine could not deliver the necessary raw material i.e. Ore that was needed to produce FeCr. Purchasing raw material is very expensive and that caused the company to have a high cost of production.

Pros: Yes
Cons: Management did not fullfill promises, and the shared services with the mine did not serve the furnace production department well.

ENHANCED MY EXPERIENCE

- Perform welding from various departments with help of welding torches and arcs. - Analyse defective equipment and identify appropriate defective equipment and inform supervisors. - Administer various components and perform welding of clamps, holding and bolts according to specifications. - Manage work with help of manual welding machines and melt metals for various processes. - Monitor all welding processes and ensure absence of any shrinkage and distortion to materials. - Manage welding work and ensure compliance to all specifications to perform defect work. - Ensure clean weld joint to obtain smooth look.
