Pros: Working on different machines brand like cat, volvo, bell etc

Allocation of products to projects based on customer profile Day to day distribution management Manage 3pl partners and monitoring contract performance Proactive involvement on issues that could have impact on employee morale and performance POD management Communicating with Sales Team Manage team of 42 people and daily report on transport & loading

Challenging position that deals with different departments

My position deals with quality assurance. Every product that leaves the company must comply to the SABS standard. It can be a challenging position at times, because it works with all the departments within the company.

Pros: you face different challenges daily
Cons: No career growth

day to day full operations of the logistics department Allocating products to projects/customers based on customer profile , grading and capacity Trouble shooting and solving all issues in the logistics of shipments Preparing projects supply distribution post mortem and managing the tracking system of company vehicles Communicating with sales representatives and managing 3PL . Confirming with customers regarding the receipt of sites delivered Report Writing.
