Excellent learning curve

I have been working at Ampath for just about 7 years. I have taken on more and more duties that were not given tp me in my contract. I have received feedback from clients that I provide high levels of client satisfaction. I do duties beyond my job description namely assisting doctors with bone marrows. I have asked to be given to opportunity to study further in tje company to become a nude but got no help. I have seen in two occasions that the EE staff have been promoted with in 2 or 3 years of working in their position but no promotions for me despite the wonderful reports given about my service from patients clients and doctors. We work with very sick patients but my colleges always act childish and don't consider our sensitive environment. I am taken complete advantage of and they do not deserve me. I do the duties of a nurse but they will not help me to achieve a diploma in Nursing despite the fact that i will ne the perfect candidate for that.

Pros: No promotion for those they do not like or non ee
Cons: Every second weekend of you are not their favourite

Good morning SIr/Madam I am currently employed at ampath as a patient services clerk. This position also includes switch board duties as well. In between these duties I am also located at thr accounts department . I am a self motivated individual and can work under enormous stress. The job that I am currently doing has thaught me how to work under pressure. Especially dealing with surgeons and many doctors. Always up to a challenge

Learning was difficult

Good working with team members and communications skills. Am dedicated to my work and my reasons for applying outside is to gain more experience in different fields of nursing.The current work its got it own challenges but it's easy to deal with because of the good team we are,mostly we very buzy and see lot of patients in a day.

Pros: no opportunity to grow
Cons: Long working hours Monday to Friday including weekends
