Fantastic range of products manufactured & distributed to clients in many African Countries.

My Job function was to maintain and build our Distribution network in Africa. I unfortunately did not have much assistance with regards to dealing with issues within complaints, however took the challenge on with great reward in satisfying my clients.This role taught me to change my perceptions of the African market and gave me the opportunity to deal with diverse cultures. I got great satisfaction out of teaching my clients staff members and met amazing people. I enjoyed seeing beautiful parts of our continent. Challenges were mostly around really long hours and extended periods away from home. Telephony issues plagued my efforts in many of the countries I visited and corrupt Law enforcement officials plague many African Countries.

Pros: Good exposure to Global Manufacturing Standards in the Thermoplastic Industry.
Cons: Limited assistance when travelling.
