I am an accomplished Piping and Mechanical Design Engineer with an extensive experience base in the fields of the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Mining Industries. I operate predominantly on a contract basis but am open to offers for positions on an assignment, fixed term or a permanent basis. I am currently employed in a Design PMC role on a family status assignment basis in Kuwait. I am the Lead Piping Engineer on the Kuwait National Petroleum Company Clean Fuels Project. I have now met the terms of my current contractual obligation and have the option of a contract extension. However, I would like to explore other opportunities. I trust you will consider my application favourably.

I am working at Amec Foster Wheeler as as senior piping engineer.

Working as a senior piping engineer cover a wide rand of tasks and responsibilities on a daily basis. On a normal day I do the stress analysis of piping system. From this company and the project at hand I have learnt a number of things including designing Tanks using API 620 and 650 and usage of post construction codes like API 510, NBIC. The most challenging aspect is normally getting the piping system work in a restricted area. Regards Takalani Cell 0828292060

Quick learner and always open for a challenge.

I pride myself on my level of professionalism, diligence, attention to detail and unquestionable integrity. I am sound minded, technically inclined and thrive when I have to perform under pressure. My ability to remain objective makes for a good problem solver as team leader or member alike.

Pros: Great exposure.
Cons: Three month contract, project drawing to a close.

Good working environment.

Good working environment overall. The opportunity for promotions are unfortunately limited when you are already employed within the firm. The work/life balance is good as we have flexi hours which enables you to attend to activities outside work.

Pros: Good work/life balance.
Cons: Limited opportunities for promotions within the firm.
