Exceptional learning experience

I draft a lot of labour court applications, file CCMA disputes, file bargaining council disputes, represent members at the CCMA and bargaining council, advise regional organizers and the rest of office staff on labour disputes, update and keep case database, represent members/ shop stewards at disciplinary hearings. The most rewarding part of my job is the attainment of settlement agreements, collective agreements, and of course victories in disputes as it leaves the clients/ members happy.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning how to deal and assist labour in disputes
Cons: Long working hours, not being paid as per other peers in the same industry

Excellent Learning curve

Most challenging aspect of the job is long hours of work and time spent on the road driving. I have learnt to work well with people around me. I have learnt also to conclude collective agreements with employers through collective bargaining. What I enjoy most is representing employees at the CCMA or bargaining councils at conciliation and arbitration processes

Labour Relations

I am really energic and a great communicator. Working for Labour organizations that help me build my confidence and teaches me the importance of Labour Relations matters and have also got track record of success. I have never been afraid to keep going back until i get what I want and great communicator.
