Internal Audit Technician

I have a BCom degree from Vista University and an Internal Audit Technician (IAT) qualification from The Institute of Internal Auditors of SA. In addition to this I have four years of experience working as an Internal Auditor and ten years experience working as an Accountant. I am well versed on accounting methods, software and procedures involved in the audit environment. For the 14 years I have been in an Auditing and Accounting profession, I believe to be a suitable candidate for this position. I believe my academic background along with my professional experiences provide a solid foundation for the Manager: Internal Audit position. I'm looking forward to study part time so that I can make Diploma so that I can be promoted.

Procurement for project managers,work with manager to do the IDP score card, I work with my co-workers hand in hand. I learn lot of things like when you work you must have the targets for the year so each quarter I have to submit the target for the quarter that is where you can scale your work and make sure that I meet all the targets. I enjoy most when we have workshop so that we can get more of what we are doing. The challenging is when I call service providers ask for quotation and they don't bring the quotation on time.

Pros: I would to get promotion when the time perfect
Cons: To work on public holidays

Excellent

Great learning curve.Everybody is nice and easy to work with.I look forward to go to work everyday.I have learnt everything from how to dress,talk,behave in a professional manner. My working relationship is great i am a team player very friendly i like people in general.

Excelent learning curve

I am in an experimental learn ship ,which is a great opportunity, I am currently working as a finance officer, I work at the expenditure department basically we are making payments to our suppliers and service providers, my daily job is to receive invoices by post or by emails, then calculate the amount that is due them for the specific month , create spreads sheet, then capture the relevant amount to our system 'sap', what I enjoy the most is working on a deadline and making sure that our suppliers are happy and that we pay them on time, the relationship with my manager is great she is down to earth ,watts more great is she knows I am here to learn and I am very keen to learn everything so whenever I ask for her assistance she always helps, working in the expenditure department has made me to be always cautious when I am dealing with money and figures, because if a capture something wrong I know I will be liable for it

So much to earn in a Municipal Environment

A typical day would be to check that all payment certifictaes are processed,prepare tender documents, prepare reports for council, prepare fund appication documents, follow up on projects, arrange meetings for project progress. The interelations with workers is fairly professional, we go on with our day to day work and create a fairly reasonable working environment that promotes being able to assist each other. I have learnt so much in working in a Municipa environment, how to handle political matters being an official, how to work around certain obstacles to create a more userfriendly environment. I enjoy serving communities, the feeling you get when a project is competed and you go do a hand over, its undescribable as you would see appreciation from the communities. Dealing with disgruntled community members has to be one of the biggest challenges as they have really no proper understanding of the way things work in a municipal environment.

Excellent learning curve

I perfomed the following duties, registering and cupturing fleet vehicles.. Filling registration certificates Performing all admin duties taking minutes , liasing with service providers...

I would like achieve more and to learn as more and also to uplift your Insitution

Monitor and Supervise the implementation of the of Council's Indigent Programme. Relation with my co-workers is fair. I learn to apply Credit Control &Debt Management policies in respect of business accounts and adherence to policies. Timeless follow up on arrangements account and tracing of consumers, to ensure staff is fully equipped with stationery needs and facilities. After restrictions have been carried out feedback turns out to be not what we expect but we have come up with a clever plan that will overcome this.

Pros: Learn more in the Institution and to promte team building
Cons: I dont mind for me to gain expeience and to groom my career

Excellent training programmes

Very demanding environment with unreasonable users. The IT team worked closely together and made a very good team. I have learnt how to tolerate unreasonable users.
