My previous employer has blessed me with an amazing opportunity to experience the FMCG industry and working for them for nearly eight years has been an awesome experience.

Pros: Decent Basic, great comms and great opportunities to meet people and be of an assistance.
Cons: Once a month long distance travelling and a full week away from home.

Challenging, Contentment & Gratefulness

Servicing approximately 5 to 10 customers a day, canvas for new business every Tuesday and Thursday. Once a month drive up country to the Northern Cape and spend 3 days Servicing existing customers and canvassing new business. My relationship with the other sales reps at that time was modest and fair. I've learnt much during my time at my current employment, too much to type unfortunately. I enjoyed the appreciation on my customers faces and the friendship I've created with them, I enjoy being on the road as it is in some way or another a stress reliever but most of all I enjoy working hard and making the money. The most challenging aspects of my job was the damage control I had to clean up caused by the previous reps at our company.

Cons: Under pay for the amount of hours worked and distance traveled
