I have moved from the Municipality to Alteram.

I have been working for Alteram for more than a year now and I have been travelling from Randfontein to Midrand daily , I started working for the Contact centre site here at Alteram and starting 2017 I have moved to the Tender department, were I am responsible for the tender board and Helpdesk system on all open Tickets for SA Tenders.After the tender has been approved by managers,I compile a tender file and do all the admin.I work with one lady and one gentle man and we are pushing our work as fast as we can,we have fun and work hard.Sometimes we get in that situation were a tender is due and we need to sit late and finish the (SBD'S),submission time is in the morning that time before 10. So the department is fun and we really learn allot from other bid Administrators from other companies.

Pros: I have been promoted three (3) times in 1 year 6 months. Contact centre to APS and Tenders Alteram.
Cons: Our department is very hectic , we need to make sacrifices and push the SLA.

Excellent progressing

Allow to develop certain processes and procedures

I would like to be part of the fast growing sector of call centre industry, an industry at the cutting edge of technology and customer service, where companies like College Compass can offer or provide an opportunity for me, in order to enhance my career in call centre and business purposes wisely and be able to adhere to the college’s business principles regularly. Companies, who are willing to save call centre cost, can find it interesting and able to increase marketing campaign via call centre environment. It will be an attractive and a vibrant decision to probe relevant information from customers and be able to meet customer satisfaction at the high level.

Excellent learning curve

Exellent learning curve ,i would like to find out my average salaries with alteram ,worked for the company for three year's ,and 6 months as consultant in the contact Centre department .

Running the daily operations of the contact centre

Running the daily operations in the call center, follow the hierarchy and identify issues which result in resolution, I've learnt to be innovative and come up with new ideas to better our service. As management we are always looking out for each other, we never blame each other instead we resolve any problem which might come up. I strive to meet deadlines and get more compliments from my superiors about my job well done.

Compensation fund and UIF duties and responsibilities

The experience is highly beneficial as it is part of financial administring duties to file for compensation fund and UIF. The company had good corporate structure and enough resources inlace for development.

Getting things done.

A typical workday involves booking training, managing performance, organising induction and preparing for Exco meetings. Co-workers are great to work with, we are a very reliable team and get things done. Our IT strategy is forever changing to accommodate demanding work and client requirements. I enjoy learning new things about the industry and how my role at the Company impacts the strategy of the organisation as a while.

I'm a very happy and bubbly person with a load personality and quite talketive.

Pros: It was tailored to be a great opportunity for growth, maybe if covid never happend.
Cons: Non renewal of contract due to covid 19.
