Great working environment. Employee centered company

My hours at the moment are from 6am to 3pm but may vary depending on meetings. My relationship with my co-workers are excellent. I get along with people very easy as I'm quite adaptive. Working at Airlink I've learned the importance of workplace practices and procedures. As an Aviation company they rely a lot on regulations and procedures. I enjoy working under clear and concise procedures as it gives you no room for assumptions, and you know exactly what is expected of one. I enjoy working with people, and helping where I can. I would say the most challenging part of my work is ensuring all work is 100% as there are no room for error in aviation. Luckily I work well under pressure, and are quite pedantic if it comes to my work. I take a lot of pride in what I do.

Pros: Great opportunity for learning as well as a very professional working enviroment
Cons: The office facility where I work is a bit remote

Excellent experience gained

I started back in 2008 as a storeman which I had experience in and then in 2010 I got promoted to be a receiving clerk. During my years in air link I got the chance to go abroad and work in Sweden which I was selected because of my hard work. I have learnt the ups and downs of the industry more over following your procedures is very important. I enjoyed everything I did on daily basis receiving of shipments and inspecting of all parts entering the company. Allocating of parts to the right aircraft tail and Bining of parts to the right location. Collecting deliveries at the gate and signing of all delivery documents

Great learning experience

I am an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, having a course on Embraer 135, 145. Working on the line maintenance on these aircraft everyday. Making sure of safety and following all maintenance manuals at all times.

Pros: It's a growing company, so promotion chances are very high.
Cons: Shift work for 12 hours a day is hectic.

A TYPICAL DAY AT OFFICE INVOLVES LOTS OF COMMUNICATION WITH VARIOUS DEPARTMETS. IT IS VERY CHALLENGING AND FUN. NO DAY IS EVER THE SAME THERE IS NEVER A TYPICAL DAY AT THE OFFICE. MY RELATIONSHIP WITH MY COLLEGUES IS STRICTLY PROFFESIONAL AND HIGHLY RESPECTABLE AS I WORK WITH THEM TO ACQUIRE EXPERIENCE AND WE TEACH OTHER QUITE A LOT. Airlink gave a lot of experience to me now I know how handle different pasengers

I can handle no matter what passengers difficult is.my customer service improved alot.there are times that are so busy then you have to work in more than one places, but I enjoyed because thats where I learn more

Working Independently

Tracking of documents for aircraft service history on each part and components to make a park as evidence for a resale for the aircraft. I was new to the company but after I was relieved I knew most of the colleagues in my department. They were welcoming.

Pros: Great way of learning to be organized, document tracking

I enjoyed working with the Airlink group. It was a good working environment always room for promotions and working your way up. Had good relationship with my colleagues. I left Airlink at end of June this Year and is currently looking for a new adventure. I am hard working and willing to do what must be done as I did at the Airlink group.

Excellent learning skills

I enjoyed working at Airlink airline. I learned new skills and how to work in a team. I also grew in the the company in terms of knowledge. Had a good relationship with the colleagues. The most challenging aspect was to deal with difficult clients but I always had a way of ingaging with them in a calming way to make them understand the situation in a better manner.
