Great experience and knowledge gained

Managing my manager's diary,Taking messages in his absence, Book meeting room monthly departmental meetings,Organize department events,maintain and expand current client base,Assist Sales Engineer to manage all distributor contract,Manage general administration sales/customer/product conformance reports, tax invoices, delivery notes, sample approval documentation etc, Maintain, develop and expand business at current clients to meet monthly budget in terms of value and volumes,Ensure that clients are visited or contacted by Sales Engineer as per weekly or monthly activity plan,Follows up with Finance Department in response to all payments related queries by the Vendors,Compile outstanding order reports and follow up with customers,Facilitate the resolution of customer queries in consultation with Customer Services, Accounts, I have a very healthy and positive relationship with my co-workers. I have gained vast knowledge about the gas industry and debtors. The most challenging aspect of my job is selling.

Learning curve

I studied was DESIGN PROJECTS which was teaching basically the Production processes, to name a few which was Production of Sugar plant. By studying the subject under the course electrical Engineering I realized my interest and passion in the alloy industry more especially dealing with the production and process control. • Computer skills - research using Google, use of software’s such as Microsoft word, excel, power point, Matlab • My qualifications include an S4 in Electrical Engineering where I also obtained COMPUTER SKILLS which I did as a subject during my first year in tertiary (Vaal University of Technology) and improved my skills at an internet Café, a Metric Senior Certificate with Mathematics, Physical Science and English passed as mentioned above. • Communications skills - presentations, report writing and collaborating teamwork amongst colleagues. • Technical skills – instruments calibrations, components soldering, measuring using multi meter

Self starting

draughtsman inside drawing office and as draughtsman in Eskom power stations experience doing p&id's and other general plant modification drawings, gas facilities work experience in Air Products facilities sketching for new pfd's plant walks for pipes and valves verification and updates of p&id's when the is MOC's

I learn quickly and o finish all my work

Great opportunity to learn .the tasks that we have will just open your eyes for more learning. Able to work with other people. I learned to be a hard worker and finish my tasks. I enjoyed the satety drills that take place every month and the environment,people are welcoming so it is easy to work with them. I didnt have much challages,but it would be delaying my job because someone else is not giving me waterver they are suppose to give in order to for me to finish my job.

I am a strong character, I am a focused candidate in Distribution

A fleet industry where we exercise chain of supply in a daily basis, my relationship with co-workers is fantastic we work as team , i have learnt that in distribution is there can be any changes in planning due customer demand and priorities, i also enjoy experiencing new challenges since they help grow also career wise, the challenges we face most of time are when we have to re-route trucks due to bad weather and also protest , i find these challenging because i have implement new ideas in order meet customer demand.

Personal career advancement

I am a area sales manager with a dual role. I managed my depot production, finances, staff and distribution. I have 14 direct reports. My responsibilities are the follows: responsible for the P & l of my branch. Negotiate contracts with parastatals or managers / directors in the manufacturing sectors. Responsible for sales and after sales function. Do site inspections and draw up technical proposals for all gas installations. Promote ans sell the concept to the customer. Enjoy closing very difficult deals which were sourced and maintained by me. Cold calling is my main focus and developing relationships with internal and external customers. Working in a team environment, but also take lead in lone wolf situations.
