Agriprotein Technology Reviews

Good start for an intern.

Agriprotein has a totally different culture compared to companies i worked for before. It is where one knows everyone and would greet everyone they see regardless of whether they know them or not. The most interesting thing about my job is that i'm the link between employees and employer so i basically know employees needs as much as i know employer's objectives. Teaching employees about basic labour law and sometimes have to make them understand why certain things happen in a particular way which has taught me to be a good listener and to be patient. The day i would regard as a bad day would be when i have to go observe a hearing that would eventually be a dismissal, informing an employee that the company will not renew their contract, but yet again i would check the reasons behind such and i would be able to cope and move on.

Pros: I appreciate all the opportunities that i have been offered like related courses i attended and being give opportunities to earn some other things out of HR like assisting in training.
Cons: I would prefer very safe environment because the company based in in the township and it can be dangerous at times where the residents are striking/protesting.

Excellent learning curve

The company allowed employees to grow with courses but there was no real growth for an opportunity within the company. There was bad communication within the company between management and workers.

Pros: opportunity to increase academia
Cons: Bad communication
