A Field of Success

My years at AgriProtein has not only been work but has been a School of discipline and conduct. My work day would start of with 50 to 100 requests from my Managers, the best I dealt with the pressure is Fire and forget. Once I did that I only had 99 time go. AgriProtein is one of the best Companies I have worked for, the platform for grow only awaits you. If you do not see that platform it would then be your dissapointment. Working is every day. Learning is every second making an success of your life is a one time opportunity.

Good for experience, but not for growth

Most days are routine like any work place you may get the job done if you manage your time well. Workers are friendly but differences in backgrounds are there, hence understanding each other is key. I have learnt a lot about recycling and improving enevironmental sustainability. Knowing each that i am making a difference in making the world a better place. Finding a direction for growth within the company is quite stressful because its not for everyone.

Cons: Low income

Management opportunity

Agriprotein has been a good opportunity to hone my leadership and organisational skills. I gained a lot of experience with hr issues and had to learn to deal with people from difficult backgrounds and treat all of them with the same respect, fairness and empathy. 2 years went by extremely quickly with the company growing rapidly changing from r&d facility to a full scale production facility. Where I had the pleasure of gaining project management experience by taking out old equipment and installing new equipment. The challenging part was facilitating the paradigm shift of the technical staff which we subsequently expanded by addiing an electrician and 2 fitters. I had a good working relationship with colleagues, subordinates, top management, suppliers and contractors.

Great for gaining experience.

Maintenance of the management system. Support continuous improvement. Manage pest control, cleaning & sanitation and change management program. Conduct investigations. Support all department in the organization w.r.t food safety. Ensure internal audits are conducted. Ensure calibration and verification of all measuring and monitoring devices. Maintains the Gage R/R program to monitor product and process quality and reliability. Develop business process maps. Manage document management systems. I have a good working relationship with my co-workers. I love how the team works together to achieve organizational objects.

Pros: Great for gaining experience.
Cons: Not much room for growth.

Good learning oportunity

tfast paced work environment. Only hard working and self driven individuals will thrive here.. Lots of training provided for managers.. great place for first time job seekers to start career

Good Place to learn new things

Learned alot of new things in the science and research area, was also exposed to the IT Environment in a factory and the equipment used from Germany which was setup by me and the IT Personnel from Christoff Industries. Every Day was a challenge as it was a start up company and new equipment needed to be connected and be able to access it from Austria.

Open culture, exposure to other departments

I work from 8-4 as an HR Intern and i'm usually at work at 7:30 to relax and get ready for the day before 8. My typical day would be assisting employees with payroll queries. I am a very humble being to it makes it easier for everyone to approach me both employees and the management. I have learnt to be patient with everyone as we are all unique in a way. I have learnt to be consistent in how i assist and treat everyone. I really enjoy educating employees about their rights at work and communicating with the employer/management. What challenges me is not being able to assist someone because i don't have access to a certain information.

Excellent learning curve

Not bad pay compared to other companies. The company is growing internationally. Recycling waste using black soldier fly. Producing feed which is high in protein

Change is ever constant

A typical workday would consist of checking diaries for upcoming meetings and/or events for each of our Leadership Team. As Office Manager/PA, working closely with staff is essential, I have a good relationship with everyone I work with and for. AgriProtein has opened my eyes to a new way of doing business, becoming legally compliant and putting all the measures in place to be a legally sound company. I most enjoyed working with people, different personalities and backgrounds makes for an interesting day. No one day is the same as the one before it, which also proved to be challenging as well as rewarding.

Pros: Ability to work in an ever growing industry that promised a sustainable future for all.
Cons: Being available at all hours of the day and night due to Holding Company being based in UK and other subsidiaries across the globe.
