Excellent growth opportunities in the Opensource as well as the mainstream database systems. Management is dynamic and allows independent thinking. I learnt that the opensource systems can do the job just as well as the mainstream systems at a fraction of the price

Pros: Massive opportunity for growth as Geographical Information Systems provide a visual representation of M.I.S
Cons: Not a large enough footprint in South Africa

Good learning experience

Consists of 3-5 deployments per day, work in teams, linux and windows admin skills plus troubleshooting tools, the flexible hours and the fact that you can work on IT services, access not restricted

Pros: Getting the relavant exprience
Cons: Hectic hours at times
