Great learning opportunity with a qualification attached

Processing of premiums and payments. I assist colleagues and manager with any tasks that I am given. I enjoy every aspect of the job but proportional processing of accounts gets tricky. It's been three months doing it and I am getting better. Premium is processed quarterly for proportional and non-proportional. I also help with Facultative work too. I work well with colleagues and they are helpful too.

Pros: The benefit of gaining a qualification at the end of the learnership
Cons: Little opportunity for growth as the company is small

Challenging but very good

Reinsurance is a specialized area in the industry and you learn everyday. It s a very interesting and challenging line of work. Interpretation of contracts should be precise.

Cons: The job is demanding
