High pressure and fast paced environment.

Can be a challenging position at times, a usual day consists of meetings, material and labour management, quality control, cost analysis, drawing measurement, client liasing, and driving between sites. Co-workers and management are really great guys, always willing to help where possible. I have learnt quite a lot in my time at this company, having from started as a site agent, moving to health and safety and then finally on to contracts management. I enjoy the excitement of starting a new project, as the challenge is never quite the same. Most challenging aspect is balancing work and home life, as working weekends and nights happen more often these days.

Pros: Opportunity to work on some really exclusive projects.
Cons: Little to no employee investment in terms of training. No medical aid/pension or provident fund.

Excellent experience

Adcon is the big company that helps people to get money by doing a stock take in different stocks when you work there you must also look for another job because you dont work everyday sometimes they cancel the shops for almost a week so you have to stay at home and no work no pay but it does pay good. I like working with my colleagues because i am a talkitive person so they enjoy working me they say i make their job earsier since they laugh all the time when i am with them. I enjoy being place on the shop when its december because there you dont count stoch you pack and you also meet a lot of people in the store. I have learnt that you have to count you products when you buy your things so that you can be accountable and love you colleague's. For me its hard to stand the whole day but i am getting used now because its been a while i've been working at adcon

Expirence

I learnt to work with people of many different levels of management and experiences. It’s a difficult field to work in but once you learn to adapt it’s made easier and I’m quick to adapt to my environment which is a positive and it’s something this industry has planted in me to adapt to your surroundings and execute tasks quickly.

Counting physical stock accuracy

At Edcon we count stock sometimes a week we have been call once or twice.It is a good job that has teach me to be patient, focus, be a good listener,knowledge about stock .We use to travel different places around Mpumalanga communication co-workers it was very important meeting different people who speak different language. I have to be willing to learn even adapt changes it was fun to get meet new challenge
