Excellent all round experience

Large company, owner run with national footprint and supplying practically any and all electrical components. Added to my skill set operating in a retail environment. Challenging environment but that has thought me to think on my feet and to remain solution driven as my client at the end of the line is always my priority.

Pros: Growing my skill set and learning to work around obstacles with my client’s needs as driving factor
Cons: Very micro managed environment with total lack of structure and communication leaving me at customer level having to resolve service and product issues caused up te line. Answers slow as owner insists on signing off on everything. No intermediate management has any decision making power. Leaves one battling every day to make sure you keep your client happy.

Good learning curve to expand my work experience

This is a challenging job as your customers expect you to be experienced in all aspects of the electrical fields . The positive as well as negative management of customers keeps you alert. Material shortages for the mail factory is a every Day challenge with a lot of red tape to source material from different companies. The open plan environment gives an advantage to the local competitors as customers still want to see and feel items before buying.

Pros: Working with a large variety of customers
Cons: this is a every man for himself environment.

Excellent learning curve

Working for Acdc Express has done me good. When i first started working there, i was skilled as much as i am. In a space of three months i went from being a store assistant to a Storeman. Acdc also send me to have my basic medical aid training. Acdc invests alot on its employees. And also makes sure its employees is equipped with the right tools for them to execute their responsibilities. I recommend Acdc Express to anyone.

Great learning and adding value and bettering my skills

Attending customers quotes via email and telephonically. Following up on customers orders and delivery. Counting prospective customers for new and existing business. I work well with people regardless of their race, culture or belief. I am very organised person and I am strict. I love being surrounded by people. I tend to loose myself in my job. I am people pleaser so it makes it easy for me to interact with customers both personally and over the phone. I am target driven and ambitious. a

It's a challenging environment, I have learned alot from it

It was my first working with electrical components, but I was quick to know most of the products. I have gained a lot of experience since I have started working for this company and it a wonderful environment to work under. Its a growing company and I believe one day it will expand to a bigger shop and create more jobs.

I gained a of knowledge it was learning curve

I have learned a lot about electrical stuff and working with different people I enjoy helping client and putting a smile on their faces my day starts at 7 till 5 its busy especially when we receive stock cause I must check it make sure is correct and not damaged then pack it on the floor.
