Excellent learning curve

I worked at Accessories Spares Centre as a receptionist and Admin Assistant . I also went for health and safety training . I was a health and safety rep in the admin area . I do all admin work . The company is situated in Durban .My working hours are from 8 to 5 . Have good relationships with my colleagues . We help one another . Its a really could environment to work in . I gained alot of experience in the short space of time , I started as a receptionist , and later on became an admin assistant . I learnt everything regarding admin and specialised in opening new accounts . I also became an online administrator for the company's website . What I enjoy most is the relationship I have with my colleagues and the lovely fun environment we work in . The work load does increase , seems very challenging but I do my utmost best to overcome that challenge !

Pros: Opportunity to gain alot of experience
Cons: Low salaries , no growth even though alot of experience

I have a flair for figures. Greatest challenge is doing manual cash book.

Working at Accessories Spares Centre was the best thing that happened. Great working environment, great people including management. I enjoy working with the media dept assisting in packing catalogues. Although I process my Cash book manually, I find it a great challenge.

Pros: Need a promotion
Cons: Waiting for invoices to be filed when credits need to be processed.

Working with figures

I love my job and what I do. My typical day when I get in, leave credit notes in director's office to sign. Receive new lot of RFC's and sign for it. Mark off all invoices to credit and make copies. For the Cashbook enter all COD, Credit card, cheque and drop box entries. On a Friday do weekly wages. Check all leave and sick leave forms. Capture wages and send for signing. After signing print payslips and issue.
