Temp Accountant standing in for General Finance Manager on maternity leave

I have many years experience in all aspects of Finance. I have worked for small to Corporate companies. I have been coached and trained by the best CFO's and worked myself up from temp to General Manager in only 4 years. I am a fast learner and believe in living out the core values and strategies of the employer.

Pros: Daily cashflow reporting to UK, Intercompany loan accounts, overseeing creditors and debtors, daily capturing of cashbook, salaries and wages, Vat reconciliations and submissions, reconcile all balance sheet accounts, financial monthly reporting up to Balance Sheet.
Cons: No benefits and only contract assignment

Cross functional teaming

Understanding the whole operation, how it works and it's position in the domestic and global market. The strengths of and weaknesses of my team and top management. I have learned to be an all rounder, being Handson and creating a good relationship with my external and internal customers. Metal analysis, stock management and customer first. Production planning and market forecasting is one of my key areas. The most challenging is having to deal with weight or quality descrepencies from our international suppliers., investigating and providing proof.

Pros: Exposure to international benchmarking
Cons: Very turbulent industry
