Abraham Kriel Bambanani Reviews

Excellent Learning Curve

I studied Social Work but i could not finish it. I start with administration every morning when i get to the office. During lunch time i attend beneficiaries. My relationship with my co - workers is very good. I learnt that if you working with people you must always humble yourself to build good relationship and to be able to stay happy at work. I enjoy engaging with beneficiaries most. The most challenging is beneficiaries with behavioral problems because after trying to discipline them, they go back to their families and communities.

Pros: Having a chance to know different children daily
Cons: Too much workload

Excellent learning curve

The NGO is a big organisation that focuses on the neglected and abused children's needs. They ensure that the children's safety comes first and help them focus on their future too. There is a great need of funds that is required to assist these kids as well as funds needed to run the NGO. There is so much to learn from the organisation and it makes one want to give back to the community. A typical day at work is when you are faced with new challenges in terms of working closely with the marketing team to bring new ideas to the table to raise funds for these kids. Working together as a team makes the workload much lighter at the end of the day too.

Pros: Great opportunity to learn more about the organisation itself and get promoted
Cons: workinv long hours
