I have done my national Diploma in Electrical Engineering at Durban Institute of Technology. To add, I am a vibrant, energetic, self- assertive and single individual who is keen to advance in my career. Great work culture
Customer visits, Site audits. Help proposal team with tenders. Attend trade shows. I enjoy the customer interactions. Coming from the field I enjoyed learning the business side of Engineering.

Learning Curve
My work place is such a great company to work for. A day at work varies from one day to the next as I do not spend a lot of time at the office but at customer site attending to breakdown,meeting and performing services. People I work with are friendly and I really enjoy working with them. I have learned to deal with difficult customers as my primary role since as I work for customer service is to keep the customer happy at all times. I enjoy improving automation processes, reduce cycle and contribute towards achieving departmental goals. I find travelling at short notice a bit challenging.
Pros: I learn new things everyday as customer experience different problems with their Robot Systems and that requires to be solved.
Cons: Travelling a lot, at short notice.

Very challenging yet satisfying job and puts you in the center of the operation
Receiving new projects and plan the work using MS Project / Primavera Gathering feedback on work progress Updating of existing plans with progress feedback to reflect current vs baseline List and raise constraints/poor performance to management Raise "Early Warnings" Forecast new predicted end dates for a project Assist management with recovery plans to pull back projected end dates to baseline Generate daily reports to management with regards to progress Measure and analyze performance of work teams Attend daily meetings to resolve issues arising

Learning Curve
Learning Curve had its ups and downs just as many jobs do. When it comes down to everything that went on I learned a lot about myself and when I put my mind to something I could accomplish anything. I worked hard everyday to give the children the care and education they deserved. Some days when my director was out the staff had to take over and since my director trusted me to get the job done right without question she chose me to be in charge. The women I worked with loved when I was in charge due to that fact that I would make sure all work team were happy and help where it was needed.
Pros: Great opportunity for skill development
Cons: I'm willing to work long hours as per company request

Management/Supervise.
My process and commissioning experience taught me to envisage an integrated picture of the plant to function together as a system which includes the importance of planning and work execution to meet deadlines and promote productivity together with HSE as a norm. My honesty and dedication show commitment to my character as a professional in the construction sector.

Working at ABB
A good working environment even though the workload is very high. Exposure to efficient business systems. International exposure to state of the art technologies and different cultures. I have learnt a lot of techniques of doing business internationally and making it a success
Pros: Working at a well known company means great opportunities for growth
Cons: The workload is usually very high you have to put in a lot of hours which may affect personal and family time

Project controller
I have great experience in project controlling, i was involved in the overall financial execution of the projects in terms of revenue recognition. Preparing invoices, journals and responsible for the correctness of the balance sheet and income statement. Providing support on claims management and monthly recon of ledger accounts. Drives project cash flow and oversee currency risk and tax issues. Assist project managers in cost calculation and verify differences for costs to complete. Assisting Project Engineers with the CPA calculations and Variation order calculations. I also assist the project managers in arranging the issuance of project related Bank Guarantees / Bonds (Bid, Performance, Retention etc).
