Always challenging

My typical day includes: Sales forecasting Target breakdown for each rep, I manage 7 reps and 1 sales learner Coaching reps by seeing 5 customers with them daily Planning and admin Budget review and management Daily review of KPI reports for each individual rep I like the challenging nature of the job, tight deadlines and multiple KPIs to chase, over 600 outlets in my base, there is always something to do. I have learned to be patient and how to deal with different personalities, how to calmly resolve conflict within my team or between myself and colleagues. I have also learned valuable lessons on leadership by personal example. The downside to the work is the lack of communication from the centre. Incentives for sales force have been serveely dilluted and the changes made to remuneration structures are not transparent or the execution thereof is on the unfair side of matters.

Pros: Growth opportunities for positions
Cons: Remuneration packages no longer lucrative.

Responsible for operation of 3 departments which included 12 direct reports

Responsible for a crew of 12 and 4 temporal staff. Daily meeting with morning shift from 7:30 amd then move to departmental meeting to discuss issues from the prvios shift. Then move onto daily audits and plant performance and also meet with maintenance team to dicess maintenaiussue. I work closely with all departments and its challenging due to diversity and requirementss

Cons: 12hrs and no weekends

No work life balance and unreasonable expectations for the remuneration received

Extremely time consuming. No work life balance. Unfair work allocations. Expected to work outside of working ologies. No overtime’s . No support from management

Pros: Well known company
Cons: Long working hours and required to always be available

Well balanced company

My contact was a 1year contract where the first 6months I was on the warehouse doing stock count and inventory and the other 6months was in customer service I enjoyed. inventory more as it was challenging the working environment was great great working area and staff had a strong bond, the most challenging this was when stock did not balance and investigation had to be done

Cons: To much information given at once

Very good learning ground. Personal development and excellence skills. There is a great opportunity to perform your tasks the way you desire to lead and manage your department. There is a focus on people development, company gap savings and maximisation of net revenue.

Pros: Great opportunity to be promoted internally
Cons: Still using old technology tools
