Opportunity to apply strategic Employee Relations' strategies and to grow even further.

I have set structures in my current workplace, ranging from policy review, Performance Management and ultimately an Employee Handbook. My typical day: I start with Operations Meetings for overview, HR shop floor board at 08:30, planned meetings, update on emails/general office correspondence and administration and a closing meeting with Operations Management. I have a working relationship with co-workers and my superiors. My calendar for the week includes strategic sessions with Senior Management Team. In this session I get their individual HR related issues that need influence or implementation. I have also learnt that most solutions lie with both management and labour. Sometimes a strategic process facilitation yield results in cases of dispute. I enjoy building relationships, counselling, discipline, report analysis and presentation. Instilling business thinking to employees at all levels is what challenge me. Thank you and kind regards, Siyabulela Paul Manikivana

Pros: Back to aviation sector - exciting field
Cons: Introduction to a new company and culture

Office Administration short course and Telephone Skills Etiquettes

Working for AAT Composites has prepared me to be a professional receptionist. It sometimes typical but its nothing that I can't handle because I always prioritize my work. I have a good relationship with my co-workers because it is my job, I am the face of the company, I am the first person they see when they enter the company and I am responsible for their calls. I have learnt to put the customers first no matter what the situation is. I enjoy being the first person to meet clients and I enjoy talking on the telephone because it teaches me telephone manners day bay day. I enjoy most to finally meet the clients that I always talk to them over the telephone. The most challenging aspects is some clients that insist to see the senior management without making an appointment but I handle it calmly because the customer is always right.

Pros: I used to be an operator in the factory but I got promoted to being a receptionist and I am not gonna stay in one position because I am a go-getter.
Cons: I am used to working long hours.

AAT Composites Pty. Ltd Review operational summary

We are a company that manufactures aero-composite frame seats. It operates 24hrs 5days a week excluding weekends (works only when needed or expedite components). Working in the Co. is good, I personally gained a lot experience from kit-cutting, moulding, machining to finished goods through which I am inspecting to control manufacturing standard. Working relationship is good in the working place as it should to achieve common goal with common understanding. I learnt a lot and enjoy working as quality inspector, I like a challenge and in working to find a solution. The most challenging aspect is when we receive customer returns ( I really hate that but on the other hand is learning curve).

Pros: Good working environment e.g team work across the board
Cons: working long hours , when needed and night shifts

Good learning curve

What I like about my job is very challenging and I learn new thing everyday. I work with different people and different projects with different departments and Management and I have a good relationship with each and every one of them. I am very focus , hard working person who's will to learn everyday . I like challenges because through them I learn and also like critics so that I can become a better person in what i'm doing. I have learn to be a problem solver and decision maker because my Manager isn't always around for me to run to him everytime when there's a major thing that can wait for him to solve it yet I do communicate with him and inform about whatever the problem was and how did I handle it . I believe that Communication is the key , respect and professionalism towards your fellow workers also plays an important role to reach whatever you want to achieve.

Pros: I believe in further your education in order to get promotions and also learn more for your knowledge in order to do your work that you really understand .
Cons: I don't have any problem of going extra mile ,even if that means I must work long hours because the aim is to finish the task that i've given and making sure that the company delivery on time so that it can win a trust from its clients .

Diverse set of challenges

High technical standards and requirements in the industry, low labor education and high cost for skilled labor, Logistics are challenging given supply is from over sea and clients are all over sea.

Pros: tough industry
Cons: Compete with international companies
